Investigators said they were on their way to the location when they received a call from Damico, who said he lost his wallet outside of a store.

Police said they determined Damico had used a credit card from the stolen wallet to buy cigarettes and chewing tobacco. The rest of the contents of the stolen wallet was recovered at another location.

Damico's wallet is believed to have been picked up outside the store by a passerby, police said.

Damico was charged with burglary, grand theft and fraudulent use of a financial transaction card.
