Neighbor attacked with marshmallow fork

ELYRIA, Ohio, March 22 (UPI) -- Police in Ohio said they arrested a woman who knocked on her neighbor's door and jabbed him in the chest with a small pitchfork.

Elyria police said the 42-year-old woman knocked early Monday on the door of a neighbor who described her expression as having "the look of death in her eyes," The (Lorain) Morning Journal reported Tuesday.

Police said the woman, who was not identified by The Morning Journal, stabbed the neighbor in the chest with a small pitchfork used for toasting marshmallows.

The neighbor was able to take the fork and called police.

Investigators said the woman, who was jailed on an assault charge, had earlier called the police on her neighbor for a noise complaint.
