PARK RIDGE, Ill., March 16 (UPI) -- Officials in a Chicago suburb said they will ask a court to force the removal of signs advertising an escort service in vacant store windows at a strip mall.

Park Ridge officials said they want the owner of the strip mall to remove the large signs for "Trixee's Escort Service" from two vacant storefronts at 805 N. Northwest Highway, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Wednesday.

The advertisements offer "3 night stands w/ all the trix" for $2,400.

City Attorney Everette "Buzz" Hill said the signs violate laws against sexually oriented signs and appear to be promoting illegal activity. He said the city will sue for the removal of the signs.

The Sun-Times said the phone number listed on the signs connects to a voice-mail account that does not give the names of any businesses or individuals.
