The neighbor called police, the TV station said.

When officers arrived and attempted to arrest Florence for trespassing, he allegedly choked and punched the officers. The police were not seriously injured, but Florence got two black eyes, the TV station said.

Florence was arrested and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, battery to a law enforcement officer, violently resisting an officer, depriving an officer of communication and non-violently resisting an officer.

He was taken to the Polk County jail.
