Russian customs officers in video row

VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- A spokesman for Russia's Federal Customs Service said some officers may be fired as the result of a YouTube music video filmed in the Vladivostok branch office.

The five-minute video, "Vladivostok Customs Office Rules," features officers in hip-hop style outfits dancing in elaborate choreography to the music of Russian pop group Band'Eros, The Moscow Times reported Thursday.

Customs spokesman Vladimir Zubkov said the video, posted to YouTube Tuesday, could result in several officers being sanctioned or fired due to the damage done to the agency's reputation and the security violations involved in filming inside the office.

A source with the Vladivostok office said the video was filmed for a New Year's party and was never intended to be seen by the public.
