Lawsuit: Vegas escort skipped out early

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- A New York man's lawsuit against a Las Vegas escort service claims the prostitute he hired did not stay with him for the agreed-upon amount of time.

Hubert Blackman claims in his lawsuit against Las Vegas Exclusive Personals he paid $155 to have a stripper visit his room at the Stratosphere and paid an additional $120 to have her perform a sex act on him, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

Blackman said he paid the woman to stay with him for an hour, but she left after only 30 minutes. He said he requested some of his money back and called police when the escort service refused, only to have officers threaten him with arrest because prostitution is illegal in the city.

Blackman, who said the woman suggested the sex act and he was unaware of the law, said he is seeking a refund of his $275 and an additional $1.8 million in damages for the "tragic event."
