KARACHI, Pakistan, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- A Pakistani advertising campaign for the Butterfly brand of sanitary pads is drawing attention with its topical humor slogan: "WikiLeaks. Butterfly doesn't."
RG Blue Communications, the advertising agency behind the campaign, said the slogan currently appears on two billboards in Karachi with a print campaign and a third billboard on the way, The Express Tribune reported Thursday.
Amjad Hussain, head of business development for RG Blue, said the company has "received a very good response" to the tongue-in-cheek slogan.
"Nobody has said it's in bad taste yet," he said.
The slogan references WikiLeaks, a whistleblower Web site that recently made headlines with the release of hundreds of thousands of confidential documents from U.S. embassies.
