ALBANY, N.Y., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- A spokesman for Andrew Cuomo said the New York governor-elect's girlfriend, Food network host Sandra Lee, will not have an official title.

Cuomo spokesman Josh Vlasto said Lee, Cuomo's girlfriend of five years, will not be referred to as the first lady and she will not have any official duties or staff, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

"Sandra would never expect any taxpayer dollar to support the contributions she makes nor would she want to burden the state in any way," Vlasto said.

Etiquette experts agreed with the decision not to call Lee the first lady.

"I'm all for modern takes on partnerships, but in this case, unless you are married, I'd refrain from using the title first lady," said Anna Post of the Emily Post Institute.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Administrators at a Florida school said a teacher who bit a severely autistic 6-year-old boy on the arm will not be allowed back.

Nat Harrington, public information officer with Palm Beach County Schools, said the events leading up to the incident were unclear but two other teachers at Belvedere Elementary in West Palm Beach saw the substitute bite the student on the arm, WPTV, West Palm Beach, reported Friday.

The man was told by the principal that he would not be allowed back inside the school, officials said.

"There is a police investigation, and there's also an employee investigation, those have just been launched," Harrington said.

The boy's mother said her son was frightened by the incident and will not let anyone touch his hand. She said he will not be returning to the school.

Wagner card sells for $262,900

BALTIMORE, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- A Baltimore Catholic congregation sold a rare Honus Wagner baseball card for $262,900 through a Dallas auctioneer.

The T206 card of the Pittsburgh Pirates player, which was graded in poor condition, earned $220,000 Thursday for the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Baltimore. They had received the card from an anonymous benefactor, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Friday.

"It's always highly sought after, no matter what condition it's in," Chris Ivy, Heritage's director of sports auctions, said of the baseball card.

A near-mint condition Wagner card sold for $2.8 million in 2007.

The card at Thursday's auction was purchased by Doug Walton, managing partner of Walton Sports & Collectibles.

"For many years, I have been in the hunt for an original T206 Wagner in any condition," Walton said.

Stolen ballots found in pond

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- San Francisco election authorities said 75 stolen ballots were recovered intact but "soggy" in a pond across town from the polling place.

John Arntz, the city elections chief, said the ballots, allegedly stolen from a polling place by election worker Karl Bradfield Nicholas, 50, were found Thursday in the pond outside the Palace of Fine Arts, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Friday.

Arntz said it was unclear whether the ballots would be counted because the chain of custody had been broken. He said the memory pack used to electronically count the ballots is still missing.

"They're very soggy," he said.

Arntz is facing a felony burglary charge and two election code violations.
