WEST PAWLET, Vt., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- A Vermont man told police he was stabbed by a gorilla-suited man wielding a "small, needle-like device."
Vermont State Police said the West Pawlet man reported answering his door at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, expecting to find trick-or-treaters,only to be confronted by a man in a gorilla suit who stood nearly 6 feet tall, the Glens Falls (N.Y.) Post-Star reported Tuesday.
Police said the costumed man stuck the victim with a "small, needle-like device" and fled toward the border with Granville, N.Y.
The victim was treated for non-serious injuries at Glens Falls Hospital.
