STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Connecticut police say two men dressed as superheroes and a woman dressed as a villain were arrested after a parking lot brawl in Stamford.

Michael Sanchez, 25, of Stamford was dressed as Captain America and Vincent Decaro, 21, of Stamford was dressed as Spider-man, The Hartford (Conn.) Courant reported. The fight broke out after Decaro and his father got into an argument, police said. The report didn't say what the argument was about.

After that fight was over, a woman dressed as Batman villain Poison Ivy then hit Captain America, the newspaper said. The woman, Nicole Bitterle, 18, whom police said was from New Jersey, was arrested, officers said.

Bitterle was charged with breach of peace, Sanchez with third-degree assault and Decaro with third-degree assault, as well as interfering with a police officer, the Courant said.

All three posted bond and are scheduled to be arraigned in Stamford Nov. 12.
