CHICAGO, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Chicago police jailed "Superman" and "Batwoman" in full costume in separate incidents of drunkenness this weekend.

Mario Reyes, 21, of Hoffman Estates, Ill., was intoxicated and was kicked out of a West Side party around 3 a.m. Saturday, police told the Chicago Sun-Times. He broke bottles in the hallway, frightening other partygoers.

Reyes was charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct and spent the night in the Harrison District lockup in his Superman costume, cape included, police said.

Two hours later, Cori Prifogle, 36, was unable to find her apartment door, police said. She asked for help from a woman in her building and became unruly when the woman didn't recognize her, calling her names and pushing her, police said.

Prifogle was charged with misdemeanor battery and taken to the Harrison District lockup dressed in a latex Batwoman outfit.
