THE VILLAGES, Fla., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Authorities in Florida said a man stole a golf cart from a country club and used it to drive to a pair of burglaries.

Marion County sheriff's deputies said the suspect, described as a heavyset white man, took the EZ Go golf cart from Nancy Lopez Country Club in The Villages and used it to burglarize a shed behind a Beef 'O' Brady's restaurant, taking $240 worth of cooking oil, and a VA hospital in the same plaza, WESH-TV, Orlando, Fla., reported Friday.

Deputies said the man took a shovel, a ladder and numerous cleaning supplies from the hospital's storage room.

"If they catch him, I don't want to see him because I would lose my temper," said Bob McNicol, owner of the golf cart. "People have no scruples anymore."
