HIGHTSTOWN, N.J., Oct. 15 (UPI) -- A New Jersey man who spends between $150,000 and $250,000 on travel each year said his passport has grown to 96 pages.

Sanjeev Midha, 49, said he has added dozens of pages to his passport to make room for more stamps received during the multiple months-long vacations he takes with his family each year, ABC News reported Friday.

Midha said he obtained a new passport last year, but he is hanging on to his 94-page passport because it still contains valid visas.

"I strongly, strongly believe in experiences. We do a little bit of sightseeing, like most people," he said, "but we like to eat only local food, go to local people's houses for dinner and try to speak local languages as much as possible."

The U.S. State Department said Midha is one of a small number of people who have managed to completely fill a passport to its maximum capacity, but exact records on the numbers are not kept.
