COLLIER, Pa., Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Authorities in Pennsylvania said a teenager crashed into a Drivers License Center after successfully completing a road test.

Collier police Sgt. Brian Halbleib said two people were taken to a hospital with non-serious injuries after the teen, whose name was not released, crashed into the Collier facility Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Thursday.

"The boy had just passed the test and pulled into a parking space in front of the center to drop off the instructor," Halbleib said. "He thought the vehicle was in park."

Halbleib said the teenager apparently panicked when the car began moving and slammed on the accelerator instead of the brake pedal.

A spokesman for Kossman Development, which owns the building, said damage was being assessed and transportation officials said the facility would be closed Thursday.
