NEW YORK, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Babies born Sunday in Oklahoma and New York were timed by hospital staff as coming into the world at 10:10 a.m. on 10/10/10.
In New York City, Carrie Wolf, 35, told the New York Daily News the timing of the birth of her son Charles could be a good omen.
"Maybe it means, he'll be very lucky in life," she said, adding at the very least, "He'll always be able to remember his birthday. It's just a cool little fact about him."
In Oklahoma, Noah Edward Prado-Ramirez was born to Army Sgt. Steven Ramirez and Tiffany Prado-Ramirez of Lawton.
"We hadn't thought about 10-10 at all," Prado-Ramirez, 25, told The Oklahoman. "But it's awesome."
Neither baby weighed 10 pounds.
