The Manitoba woman, Connie Elcombe, woke up Thursday to find a mama black bear and her two cubs lounging in the branches of a tree in the yard, Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported Friday. Advertisement Elcombe opted not to go outside, instead watching events play out from the safety of her windows all day. About 8 p.m. the bears decided they'd had enough and slowly lumbered down the tree for further adventures.
