BELLEVUE, Wash., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- A Washington state woman leaving her bachelorette party early Sunday just hours before her wedding was picked up for drunken driving, police said.

The 31-year-old Bellevue woman was pulled over by the Washington State Patrol shortly before 6 a.m. for allegedly doing more than 90 miles an hour on Interstate 405, The Seattle Times reported.

She allegedly told the state trooper she was getting married later in the day in Burien.

The Times said her blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.146 and she allegedly told authorities she had been arrested for drunken driving once before.

A State Patrol spokeswoman said the bride-to-be was released to a taxi so she could get to her wedding.
