The police department said the Orange County Sheriff's Department bomb squad was called in to examine the package, which arrived at around noon Monday in unusual packaging with no return address and no postmark, The Orange County Register reported.

Investigators said the package was taken to the police department parking lot for examination and was found to contain a 45 rpm single by The Carpenters with an attached note asking police to locate the record's original owner.

Bieber hits back at prankster

BLOOMFIELD VILLAGE, Mich., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- A Michigan 15-year-old whose phone number was posted to Twitter by teen singer Justin Bieber said he got more than 26,000 calls and texts during the weekend.

Kevin Kristopik, 15, of Bloomfield Village -- whose number was briefly posted to the singer's Twitter account Saturday night in apparent retaliation for the teenager obtaining Bieber's phone number from a hacked Facebook page and texting him -- said he had received about 26,000 calls and texts from Bieber fans by Monday morning, The Detroit News reported.

Bieber's post, which was deleted shortly after it went up, insinuated to his 4.5 million followers that the number was his.

Kristopik's father, Mike Kristopik, said his son changed his phone number and deleted his Twitter account Monday. The father said he does not approve of his son's actions.

"If I have a $20,000 bill, I'm going to be pretty upset," he said.

The Detroit News said calls to Bieber's representatives for comment went unanswered Monday.

"I saw Kiss for the first time in 1996 on the reunion tour, and that's when I was hooked, with all the theatrics, Gene spitting fire, doing the blood, the explosions." Traster said. "I love the music too."

Traster said he advanced to the costume stage of Kiss fandom about 2 1/2 years ago.

"A lot of it was purely out of boredom," said Traster, who added it takes him about an hour and a half to put on his makeup.

Pig wanders Fla. neighborhood

PANAMA CITY, Fla., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Residents of a Florida neighborhood said a pig has been spotted wandering through traffic in the area.

Locals in the Bunker's Cove neighborhood of Panama City said the pig, which has been spotted taking daily 6 a.m. walks and was blamed for a Saturday traffic jam, does not appear to be the "Cove Pig" that was spotted repeatedly during the course of several months last year, the Panama City News Herald reported.

Charlotte Bailey, owner of Baileys Service Station, said she spotted the pig during the Saturday traffic jam outside of her business. She said the pig appeared feral and she estimated it weighed 15 pounds.

The original Cove Pig is believed to have left the area after animal control officers shot it with a stun gun and tranquilizer darts. Witness reports indicate the pig may have moved on to nearby Millville.
