Wethersfield police said the envelope Kendl Murphy, 43, used to make her deposit at the drive-up window of Rockville Bank at about 4 p.m. Thursday was found to contain a small bag of white powder, leading tellers to call police while the deposit was being processed, The Hartford (Conn.) Courant reported Friday. Advertisement Police Sgt. Scott Custer said a field test on the bag showed positive results for cocaine. He said Murphy admitted the cocaine was hers and told officers "something to the effect that it was left over from the weekend and she didn't realize she left it in that envelope." Murphy, who police said was not under the influence of any substances at the time of the incident, was charged with possession of narcotics and released without bail.
