WASHINGTON, July 31 (UPI) -- Star Wars fans are having a great time parodying the whistle-blower Web site WikiLeaks, using Twitter and the label #Wookieleaks, observers said.
The New York Daily News said the offerings included: "Despite billions invested on construction of an untested defense system, the new Death Star may not yet be fully operational"; "Unconfirmed reports of the #iphone4 screen cracking due to the Darth Vader death grip"; "Jawas implicated in droid price fixing scandal", and, "The Death Star has a serious design flaw in one of its exhaust vents."
The newspaper said there was no comment from Lucasfilm "or Imperial Command."
To the distress of the White House and the Pentagon, the real WikiLeaks has published about 75,000 sensitive documents related to the Afghan war.
