Man learns casino losses not deductible

NAPLES, Fla., July 28 (UPI) -- Authorities in Florida said they are investigating the origins of illegally placed road signs warning drivers of an "illegal alien crossing."
Collier County officials said the rectangular signs first appeared Sunday near a mobile home community with a large Spanish-speaking population on Radio Road and were quickly removed, The (Naples, Fla.) Daily News reported Wednesday.
County sheriff's office spokeswoman Kristi Lester said deputies are investigating the incident. She said the signs were illegally placed at a "public right-of-way."
