BILLUND, Denmark, July 23 (UPI) -- Officials with the Lego toy company in Denmark said sales of the block set designed to create a model Taj Mahal spiked sharply due to a David Beckham mention.

Lego said sales of the 5,922-block structure, the largest toy in the company's history, increased 633 percent in one day after David Beckham appeared on Britain's "Jonathan Ross" show July 16, the Christian Science Monitor reported Friday.

The Lego Taj Mahal, which is only available online, measures 20 inches wide and 16 inches tall once constructed. It sells for $300.

CNN reported Lego officials invited Beckham and his family to tour the company's headquarters and "contribute new ideas to the Lego Group."
