Advertisement California artist MB Hanrahan, who designed the logo with dolphins, a turtle and a pelican for Buffett's free concert Sunday in Gulf Shores, said omitting Mississippi from a list that included Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Georgia, although the latter state does not have a Gulf of Mexico coastline, the Biloxi (Miss.) Sun Herald reported. "Oh, no. That is sad," Hanrahan said the omission. "Artist chagrined. It won't happen again." The shirts came in a variety of colors and sold for $20-$25. Measure cites non-existent mayor's powers TAMPA, Fla., July 15 (UPI) -- A ballot measure in a Florida county would strip the charter of powers outlined for the elected county mayor, a position that does not exist, officials said. Advertisement The Hillsborough County Charter Review Board voted 13-1 to place a measure on the ballot that would remove the provision giving veto powers to the elected county mayor, a position that does not exist in the county, the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times reported. "What we have is a provision sitting in the charter that basically has no purpose," board member Ralph Fisher said. Officials said the provision was approved in 2008, the year a ballot measure was planned regarding the creation of the mayor position. However, the measure was removed from the ballot due to a legal challenge and the measure giving veto powers remained and was passed. "To give a non-entity such power is to play chess with the voters," board member James Tokley said. "I do not believe that the people of Hillsborough County deserve to be given a chimera. This is not Alice in Wonderland. This is Hillsborough County." Porky Pig attack alleged at Six Flags GURNEE, Ill., July 15 (UPI) -- Police in suburban Chicago say two Six Flags Great America employees visiting the park on their day off allegedly assaulted a worker dressed as Porky Pig. Gurnee police said Dmytro Petrychenko, 19, and Taras Sikalchuk, 20, allegedly hit the 24-year-old woman dressed as the "Looney Tunes" character in the back and front of her head 10 to 15 times after posing for a picture with her, WMAQ-TV, Chicago, reported. Advertisement Police said both men, who are from Waukegan, were removed from the park and issued battery citations, the Arlington Heights (Ill.) Daily Herald reported. The woman was taken to a first aid station, where she was treated for head and neck pains and released. Officer helps deliver roadside baby WEST HARTFORD, Conn., July 15 (UPI) -- A Connecticut couple said their daughter was born at the side of the road with the help of a police officer when they were unable to reach the hospital in time. Michael Zyjeski said he pulled over to the side of the road Tuesday afternoon in West Hartford at the urging of a 911 dispatcher because his wife, Karen, was in labor and her contractions were coming quickly enough that they did not believe they would make it to the hospital, The Hartford (Conn.) Courant reported. West Hartford police officer Tom Lazure responded to the Subaru at the side of Albany Avenue and assisted the parents with the birth of Nicole Marie Zyjeski, who had been due July 9. "I'm single. I don't have any kids, nor have I delivered a baby. I was like, 'Oh my God, this is it,'" Lazure said. Advertisement However, the Zyjetskis said Lazure handled the situation like a pro. "He had such a calm demeanor. It looked routine, like he'd done it before," Michael Zyjeski said. An ambulance took the baby and mother to St. Francis Hospital, where doctors said the infant weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
