WINDERMERE, Fla., June 23 (UPI) -- A Florida man is selling his unfinished, 90,000-square-foot home "as is" for $75 million or completed to the buyer's specifications for $100 million.
David Siegel, chief executive officer of time-share company Westgate Resorts, said the Windermere mansion, which a previous listing indicated would be sold for $75 million finished in the style of French King Louis XIV, will instead be sold "as is" for that price and will only be finished for buyers willing to pay an extra $25 million, the Orlando Sentinel reported Monday.
The home, which Siegel named Versailles, includes 13 bedrooms, 23 full bathrooms, a banquet kitchen with 10 satellite kitchens, a 20-car garage, a roller rink, a two-lane bowling alley and three pools, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Siegel initially planned to live in the mansion with his family, but construction stopped on the property last year because of the economy, the executive said.
