MADISON, Wis., June 4 (UPI) -- Wisconsin authorities said a man who robbed a convenience store Friday morning was "young-sounding" and seemed "extremely rattled."
Madison police said the robber, described as a black man standing between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall, walked into the PDQ convenience store at about 3:20 a.m., The (Madison) Capital Times reported Friday.
"The store clerk said the young-sounding criminal appeared to be extremely rattled as he demanded money," police spokesman Joel DeSpain said.
He said the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect did not show any weapons during the incident, police said.
