MADISON, Wis., May 28 (UPI) -- Police in Wisconsin said they are searching for a man who allegedly followed two middle school girls onto a bus to take pictures with his cellphone.

Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain said the man, described as a white man about 40 years old, followed the 13- and 14-year-old girls to the bus stop on Hammersley Road while taking pictures of them with his phone and continued to take pictures of them on the bus, The (Madison) Capital Times reported Friday.

"The man asked the girls if he could take their picture as they were getting on the bus, and they said no, but he used his cellphone to snap some shots anyway," DeSpain said. "The girls said he was standing on his tiptoes to take more photos while the girls were sitting."

The man did not exit the bus when the girls got off at the West Transfer Point, police said.
