VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 27 (UPI) -- A U.S. and Canadian survey suggests 25 percent of Canadians with work computers played "Pac-Man" on Google, while 20 percent of U.S. workers did the same.

Angus Reid Public Opinion said its online poll of 1,007 Canadians and 1,007 U.S. citizens found 69 percent of Canadian respondents who played the game, which appeared for a time Friday on Google's homepage, and 48 percent of U.S. players surveyed said they quit playing after five minutes or less.

The survey indicates 29 percent of players from both countries played the game for five to 20 minutes, while 23 percent of U.S. players and 2 percent of Canadians played for 21 minutes or more.

The survey, conducted May 25-26, also suggested 17 percent of workers in both countries do not look at Web sites unrelated to their jobs during the work day.

The poll had an error margin of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
