MESA JUNCTION, Colo., May 24 (UPI) -- Police in Colorado said they arrested a burglary suspect whose mask during the alleged crime failed to cover a tattoo on his lip.
Investigators said Anthony Gonzales, 20, and a second masked suspect attacked and robbed Robert Segura of Pueblo, an Elvis impersonator known as "Lil Elvis," in his home April 19, The Pueblo Chieftain reported Monday.
Segura told investigators he could see the words "East Side" tattooed on the upper lip of one of the suspects. Police said they were familiar with Gonzales, an alleged gang member arrested April 26 on unrelated warrants for contempt of court for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon by a previous offender, and his tattoo.
Gonzales was charged with first-degree burglary and held in lieu of $95,000 bail.
