JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., April 27 (UPI) -- A Missouri restaurant said a Kansas man is the first to successfully complete the challenge of eating a 324-square-inch pizza on his own.
The Pizza Haus in Jefferson City, Mo., said Randy Santel of Overland Park, Kan., was awarded $450 for downing the 18-inch-by-18-inch hamburger, pepperoni and Canadian bacon pizza, KSHB-TV, Kansas City, Mo., reported Tuesday.
The restaurant said there have been several attempts to finish the meal during the past two years but Santel was the first to successfully complete the challenge.
