LUCERNE, Switzerland, April 15 (UPI) -- A Swiss performer said he found success by offering his services as an "Evil Clown" to terrify children at their birthday parties.
Dominic Deville of Lucerne said his Evil Clown service was inspired by horror movies about scary clowns and allows parents to give their children a good birthday fright, The Austrian Times, Vienna, reported Thursday.
Deville said the performance begins with texts, phone calls and letters to the intended victim warning them of an impending cake in the face.
"It's all in fun and if at any point the kids get scared or their parents are concerned we stop right there. But most kids absolutely love being scared senseless," he said.
