DEL CITY, Okla., April 6 (UPI) -- An Oklahoma teenager said he is trying to get official Guinness recognition for the world's longest skateboard stationary manual at 1 minute 21 seconds.

Aaron Shirazi, 18, of Del City, said he destroyed the current Guinness World Record for the longest stationary manual, a trick involving keeping the skateboard on two wheels while holding still, by holding the position for longer than the 49.09 seconds logged by pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek in 2007, The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, reported Tuesday.

Shirazi said he is in the process of collecting signatures, witnesses, video and photos required by Guinness to set an official world record.

"It's worth a shot to make it official," Shirazi said. "It would be pretty cool to be in there."
