PITTSBURGH, March 26 (UPI) -- A Pennsylvania man was charged with public drunkenness after trying to resuscitate a road-killed possum, police say.

Witnesses say they saw Donald Wolfe, 55, of Brookville, Jefferson County, trying to revive the allegedly road-killed animal although the exact manner of resuscitation was not mentioned, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Friday.

Pennsylvania State Police say they charged Wolfe after arriving on the scene around 3 p.m. along Route 36 in Oliver Township.
