NEW YORK, March 18 (UPI) -- A New York woman whose ring lost a 4-carat diamond while she was watching a "Saturday Night Live" rehearsal said a staging director found the gem.
Bree Candee said she noticed the diamond was missing from the engagement ring given to her three years ago by now-husband Brian while she was eating at the Nobu 57 restaurant following the "SNL" rehearsal during the weekend, the New York Post reported Thursday.
The couple said they called staging director Tom Popple, whom they had met prior to the rehearsal, and he discovered the diamond under the seat where Candee had been sitting.
Candee said she was relieved to be reunited with her beloved ring.
"It's one of my favorite things," she said. "I wake up in cold sweats dreaming that I'm going to lose my ring -- and the funny thing is, I did."
