LATHRUP VILLAGE, Mich., March 11 (UPI) -- Authorities in Michigan said three men allegedly caused $20,000 worth of damage to a bridal store following a female relative's argument with the shop owner.
Hekmat Putruss, owner of First Lady Prom and Bridal in Lathrup Village, Mich., said the three men caused $20,000 worth of damage and left him and his relatives with multiple bruises in a March 2 altercation, the Detroit Free Press reported Thursday.
He said the men, identified by police as Nashwan Petros, Thamir Mikhail and Nameer Kastaw, came to the store after he refused to alter a dress for a female relative of the suspects because of her behavior while purchasing the dress the previous day.
Petros, Mikhail and Kastaw were arraigned March 3 on two counts each of misdemeanor assault. They could each face up to 93 days in jail if convicted.
