ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Passengers on a Pinnacle Airlines flight from Rochester, N.Y., to Atlanta said the plane was grounded due to a fight between flight attendants.
Steve Mazur, a passenger on the Delta connection, said the flight was canceled after two female flight attendants "got into a fistfight on the plane. The pilot decided to kick everyone off the plane," the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Friday.
"They told us we had to get off the plane because stewardesses were fighting," fellow passenger Corey Minton told news Web site YNN Rochester.
Joe Williams, a spokesman for Memphis-based Pinnacle Airlines, said the flight attendants will not be allowed to return to work until the completion of an investigation into the incident.
"The acts described are not acceptable," he said.
Williams said the passengers on the canceled flight were given alternate travel arrangements.
