Advertisement Authorities said Elizabeth Allred was sleeping in a hospital bed in her Rogersville home while recovering from a broken hip when the boulder crashed through the wall, sending her wheeled bed rolling across the room, the Kingsport (Tenn.) Times reported. "This wasn't a gravel. This was a very large rock, and it broke loose from a bank above the apartment," Rogersville Fire Chief David Jackson said. "It was dark and pouring down rain, and I don't know if it rolled or slid, but it came off of the embankment beside the building. It rolled or slid into the end of the apartment." Jackson said Allred, who was taken to Hawkins County Memorial Hospital, was startled by her ordeal but not seriously injured. Four burglary suspects found sleeping STUART, Fla., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said four burglary suspects were found sleeping in a car near an abandoned van alleged to be their getaway vehicle. Martin County sheriff's deputies said security cameras at Stuart Lawn & Garden caught images of two men removing items from the store in the early hours Tuesday and placing them in a white van with one wheel that did not match the others, WPBF-TV, West Palm Beach, Fla., reported Wednesday. "It was mainly items that they knew they were after because they didn't spend any time looking around," Justin Suggs, vice president of the Stuart business, said. He said the men took nearly $10,000 worth of merchandise, including 22 chainsaws. Deputies said they received a call about the burglary about 3:30 a.m. and later discovered the empty van in a parking lot at Harbor Bay Plaza in Sewalls Point. The deputies arrested four men found sleeping in a nearby Jaguar. Armando Garcia, Abel Lahera, Emilio Moreira and Jorge Amador were charged with burglary and grand theft. Police: Fake gun made from tool, tape CHICAGO, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Chicago police said they arrested two men who allegedly robbed a shoe store with a homemade fake gun. Detectives said the two men walked into a Payless Shoe Source in the East Chatham neighborhood Tuesday about 8:45 p.m. and brandished a fake gun described as a tool -- believed to be a drill or staple gun -- wrapped in duct tape, the Chicago Tribune reported. The men fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and a witness took down the license plate number of their getaway vehicle, police said. The police went to the home of the woman to whom the vehicle was registered and allegedly found the two suspects -- the woman's boyfriend and another man, both 23 -- as well as their ski masks, fake gun and stolen money. Jersey's 'kookiest' pizza includes fries WANAQUE, N.J., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- A New Jersey "Pizza Patrol" named a pie topped with steak, fried chicken, french fries, onion rings and mozzarella sticks as the state's "kookiest" pizza. Advertisement The (Newark, N.J.) Star-Ledger's "Pizza Patrol" said the Fat Bastard pizza, served by Pizza 1 in Wanaque, is New Jersey's "kookiest pizza of the year." Other unusual New Jersey pizzas meriting mention by the patrol included the McDonald's-inspired Big Mac pizza -- which includes cheeseburger, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato and special sauce -- and pies inspired by other fatty foods including hot dogs, tacos and buffalo chicken. Honorable mentions went to a "Tony Soprano" pizza, featuring clams, fresh tomatoes and shrimp, a stuffed deli pizza and a chicken savoy pizza.
