FAIRBANKS, Alaska, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- An Alaska man who pleaded guilty to throwing food at a Taco Bell manager was banned from all locations of the fast-food franchise for a year.

Warren Strickland, 31, of Fairbanks, admitted to throwing a taco at manager Carol Dzimtrowicz during the Jan. 14 incident because he was angry about his order, the Fairbanks Daily News reported Friday.

Strickland said he went through the drive-thru lane repeatedly because one of the three tacos he ordered was missing and was then made incorrectly. He said he went into the store because he found spit on the final taco given to him by workers.

He admitted throwing the taco at Dzimtrowicz during an argument inside the restaurant.

"Unfortunately, I destroyed the evidence (of the spit), or I could have gotten the place shut down," he said.

Strickland pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to one day in jail, $100 in fines and one year of probation. He is not allowed to set foot in any Taco Bell locations during his probation.
