Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District officials said the three Cypress Ridge High School students were wearing T-shirts with letters to spell "Class of 2010" during last month's photo shoot but a different word was spelled when the students rearranged for a second photo, KHOU-TV, Houston, reported Wednesday. Advertisement Administrators said they did not believe the three students' claims the "ass" spelling was unintentional and the three were suspended, fined $135 each and removed as officers from various clubs and student organizations. "Three students were disciplined in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct," the district said in a statement. Officials said the fines paid by the students will go toward retouching and reprinting the photo.
