NORTH HAMPTON, N.H., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- A New Hampshire woman is being taken to court by neighbors who want her to get rid of her noisy roosters.

Phelps Fullerton of North Hampton and his wife, Jamie Marston, are seeking to have the court bar Sylvia Cheever from keeping the birds, which the couple say keep them awake with loud crowing that begins at dawn, The (Manchester, N.H.) Union Leader reported Monday.

The pair said they do not mind Cheever keeping chickens, but they are asking Judge John Lewis to ban her from having roosters on her property.

Lewis agreed to set a hearing in the case, but it has not yet been scheduled.
