Advertisement King County Deputy Prosecutor Maurice Classen said investigators found fingerprints belonging to Shane Carlson, 26, on human teeth discovered in a bag left on a North Seattle sidewalk in October, The Seattle Times reported Thursday. Police said Carlson, who has numerous previous convictions for home, office and car burglaries, is now a suspect in at least 35 burglaries, including several involving the theft of gold fillings and raw gold from dental offices and laboratories. They said they are also probing possible connections to 38 other unsolved burglaries in the area committed since Dec. 2. Authorities in Seattle have filed charges against Carlson including two counts of second-degree burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of OxyContin and possession of methamphetamine. He is also facing charges in Snohomish County of second-degree burglary, attempting to elude police, malicious mischief and identity theft. Advertisement 500 expected at no-pants train ride SEATTLE, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Organizers of Seattle's first "No Pants" light-rail ride said 500 people have signed up to ride the train from Westlake Center to Sea-Tac Airport sans trousers. Kelsey Wildstone, 28, co-organizer of the Sunday event along with fellow members of Emerald City Improv, said nearly 500 people have registered on Facebook to participate in the no-pants ride, which was inspired by a similar annual event that began in 2002 in New York, SeattlePI.com reported Thursday. "As long as you're covered and buy a ticket, there's nothing wrong with it," Wildstone said of the undies-only ride. Wildstone said Emerald City members have spoken to police and may inform light-rail officials as a courtesy the day of the event. King County sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart confirmed the event does not appear to be in danger of violating indecent exposure laws. "Running around in your underwear is not considered indecent exposure," he said. No more jail for wedding brawl groom CHICAGO, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- A suburban Chicago groom who spent the two weeks following his wedding in jail for punching his brother-in-law was spared further jail time by a judge. Advertisement Sean Kelly, 26, of Northbrook, pleaded guilty Tuesday to battery in McHenry County after he started a drunken brawl at his own July 26 wedding reception in Huntley by punching his wife's brother, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Thursday. Prosecutors said about 10 wedding guests joined in the fight. They said the victim, Jason Wisek, had been Kelly's roommate prior to the wedding. Kelly was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to pay a $250 fine. Judge Joseph Condon also imposed a 30-day jail sentence, which was waived due to the two weeks Kelly spent in jail following the incident. Miscommunication leads to $128.6M jackpot GEORGETOWN, Ky., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- A $128.6 million lottery winner in Kentucky said his winning ticket was given to him by a shopkeeper who misunderstood his request. Rob Anderson, 39, said he went to the Marathon gas station in Georgetown, Ky., on Christmas Eve to purchase three $1 lottery tickets to give as gifts, but the clerk instead gave him one $3 Quick Pick ticket, the Louisville (Ky.) Courier reported Thursday. "I was like, 'Doggone it, I needed three separate tickets,'" Anderson said. However, he said he decided to keep the ticket because he had "a couple extra dollars" to buy the gift tickets. Advertisement Anderson said the clerk's error resulted in his $128.6 million Powerball jackpot, the largest in Kentucky history. The autoworker and his wife said they have many decisions ahead about the money, including whether to keep their jobs and home. "We're really grounded people; my wife has taught me well," Anderson said. "We'll still clip coupons and still look at the clearance rack."
