ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said someone stole a refrigerated truck containing more than $40,000 worth of frozen cheesecake.
Orlando police said the owner reported parking the semi-tractor trailer at about 3 p.m. Dec. 26 on Tradeport Drive with the ignition off and the refrigeration unit in the trailer still running, the Orlando Sentinel reported Tuesday.
The owner said he returned later in the day to find the truck missing. Police said the keys were in the owner's possession.
Investigators said the truck's load of cheesecakes is worth about $40,000, while the truck itself was valued at about $50,000 and the refrigerated trailer is worth about $120,000.
