Man learns casino losses not deductible

AMMARNAS, Sweden, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Residents of a Swedish town of about 160 people said they have been without Internet since before Christmas because their only technician is on vacation.
Tour operators in Ammarnas said the loss of Internet services, which likely will not be restored until the repairman returns home Jan. 11, has put a significant dent in their business, Swedish news agency TT reported Tuesday.
"Several hunters from abroad have called and asked why they can't book spots in Ammarnas," tour operator Anne Kathrine Odegard said.
Ammarnas town head Goran Wikstrom said officials are working to restore Internet service to the town "as soon as practically possible."
