RIVERDALE, Utah, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- A truck's payload of onions went raining down on a Utah highway when the driver rounded a curve on an overpass too fast, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.

Onions struck at least one car after the truck swerved out of its lane Saturday and hit a barrier near Riverdale, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

The truck's trailer broke open and sent onions rolling down Interstate 84 and falling onto southbound I-15.

No one was reported injured and the truck had only minor damage.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, headed from Oregon to North Carolina, was cited with failure to operate his vehicle in a single lane, the newspaper said.
