Man accidentally shoots self at gun show

SPARTA, Wis., Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Police in Wisconsin said a man in a Santa Claus outfit was cited after stumbling out of a vehicle and hugging children playing in a yard.
Investigators quoted witnesses as saying the man stumbled out of a vehicle in Sparta and approached a yard where several children were playing, WKOW-TV, Madison, reported Tuesday.
The witnesses said "Santa" hugged the children and asked them if they knew the whereabouts of his reindeer.
Police were called and the man was cited for open intoxicants. The driver of the car St. Nick stumbled out of was arrested for drunken driving.
