Firefighters douse chocolate vat flames

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Russian firefighters said they were called to put out a fire in a confection factory's three-ton reservoir of chocolate icing.

Firefighters in St. Petersburg said they were called to the Sampson-Ligovka confectionary plant in the early hours Wednesday to douse the flames in the chocolate vat, RIA Novosti reported Wednesday.

Emergency responders said no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
