Goodwill gets anonymous pot donation

Dec. 2, 2009 at 5:27 PM

MARIETTA, Ohio, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- An anonymous donor left nearly a pound of marijuana with a street value of $1,500 in a 2-gallon jug at a Goodwill Industries thrift shop in Ohio, police say.

Investigators in Marietta say there is no way to find the source of the pot, The Marietta Times reported.

The galvanized metal jug held four bags of marijuana, described as still leafy and green. The total weight was .97 pounds.

Marietta is a small city near the West Virginia border in southeastern Ohio.
