Police: Man brought baby to drug deal
DELAND, Fla., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- A Florida man robbed while allegedly trying to buy drugs with his 18-month-old daughter in tow was himself arrested, police say.
Investigators said Kristopher Peters, 21, of DeLand contacted a man to buy tablets of powerful prescription painkiller Oxycodon and brought his daughter outside his home with him to negotiate a price with the dealer, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
An arrest affidavit filed in the case said Peters went back inside his apartment to get $200 and the other man was holding a firearm when he returned.
"I can't do this in front of your daughter," police quoted the man as telling Peters.
The man took the money and fled without giving Peters the drugs, police said.
Peters told police the drug dealer had grabbed his daughter and ordered him to get the money from inside, but investigators said the story was fabricated.
Peters was arrested and charged with child endangerment.

Man's extended arm causes flight diversion
BOSTON, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- A Scottish man who disrupted an international flight by refusing to move his cast-encased arm has to keep the limb extended, his U.S. lawyer says.
Attorney Audrey Marinelli told the East Boston District Court in a hearing Tuesday that U.S. Airways passenger John Murray refused requests from a flight attendant move his arm out of the way of a cart for health reasons, the Boston Herald reported.
The 49-year-old man was arrested and charged with interfering with a flight crew Monday after the Philadelphia-to-London flight he was aboard was diverted to Boston's Logan Airport due to the disagreement, authorities said.
Marinelli said Murray, who maintains a U.S. residence in Jacksonville, Fla., had requested a window seat because he lost a thumb and index finger and injured his arm a serious motorcycle accident. But he was instead seated on the aisle where it blocked the flight attendant's cart, the newspaper said.

Two arrested in YouTube assault probe
ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Two people were arrested in a series of apparently random attacks recorded and posted to YouTube, police in Minnesota said.
St. Paul police said they received calls and e-mails Tuesday about a YouTube video depicting young men randomly attacking passersby in various locations, including some in St. Paul, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.
In one incident, a bicyclist was toppled, while in another a pedestrian was knocked down and in a third a child carrying a backpack was chased and pushed.
"I would imagine that anyone who sees it would be incredibly troubled by it," St. Paul City Council Member Melvin Carter III said of the video. "It was awful."
Police said they believe the assaults occurred during the past weekend. A spokesman said he believed one suspect was an adult and the other a juvenile.
