SHEBOYGAN, Wis., Oct. 29 (UPI) -- A Wisconsin man who failed a Breathalyzer test at a court-ordered driver-intervention program blamed Jack Daniels in steak sauce.

Ian A. Baker, 23, of Sheboygan was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor bail-jumping, which carries a maximum penalty of nine months in jail, the Sheboygan Press reported.

Baker had a blood-alcohol level of 0.07 but blamed it on Jack Daniels in the sauce on a steak he had eaten the night before, authorities said.

He had been charged in July with a fourth drunken-driving offense and was freed on $1,500 signature bail and forbidden to drink alcohol.
