Police: Man stabbed son over toilet clog

VERSHIRE, Vt., Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Vermont State Police said they arrested a man who allegedly stabbed his 19-year-old son during an argument about a clogged toilet.

Investigators said Nazeih Hammouri, 53, of Vershire, Vt., had allegedly been drinking before he stabbed his son in the stomach with a corkscrew during the argument at his home, WPTZ-TV, Plattsburgh, N.Y., reported Monday.

Hammouri was charged with first-degree assault and was ordered held on $15,000 bond. The condition of his son was not released by police Monday.
