DANVERS, Mass., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- A Massachusetts farmer who mowed his corn maze in the shape of "Family Guy" characters said he is hoping for a visit from the show's creator.

Bob Connors of Danvers, Mass., said the Fox network gave him permission to mow this year's maze at Connors Farm in the shape of "Family Guy" characters Stewie and Brian, The Boston Globe reported Thursday.

"They waived the rights and all that," Connors said. "We have to run everything by them, but they've been great."

Connors said he recently learned Seth MacFarlane, the creator of the animated comedy, has family in the area and he is hoping to convince MacFarlane, who voices both characters used for the maze, to visit.

"We've been trying to get in touch with him,'' Connors said. "I'd love to have him do the voices here on our busy weekend."
